Crosco Integrated Drilling & Well Services has commenced drilling for Thyna Petroleum Services (TPS). The first well of the drilling program is currently being drilled on the offshore Cercina concession near the island of Kerhennah in Tunisia, stated a press release.
Drilling services are being provided by Crosco's 1000 HP drilling rig Ideco-301, set up on a barge to drill offshore. Crosco currently has two drilling rigs providing services in Tunisia. The company has been providing onshore and offshore drilling and well services in the North African state since 1988 and has provided services for nine international operators.
Based in Croatia, Crosco is an integrated onshore and offshore drilling and well services contractor. The company has a fleet of 51 drilling, workover, and geoservice rigs as well as one semisubmersible and one jackup. Crosco is also a 50 percent owner of Noble Crosco Drilling, which is the operator and owner of a jackup rig.— (menareport.com)
