Sakhr Software will launch the comprehensive Arabic Information Monitoring and Management System, the first of its kind, in the Middle East, North Africa and the Arabian Gulf.

Sakhr Software will be the first to present a bilingual solution of this kind, one that is based on Natural Language Processing (NLP). This system is capable of monitoring, mining and processing information of various formats in a manner that is both suitable and convenient for research centers, security organizations and e-Governments worldwide, complying with the requirements of national and international security, as well as the efforts to fight terrorism.

This announcement was made to coincide with GITEX 2003, the largest IT exhibition in the region and comes as a direct response to growing demands by organizations, authorities and government administrations worldwide for a comprehensive Arabic Information Monitoring and Management System.

The new solution is dubbed AIMS, short for Arabic Information Monitoring and Management System. In addition to the translation engine which translates documents to and from both Arabic and English, the new solution includes a system mainly comprised of components which capture incoming information from various sources, in various formats, systems for information analysis, automated categorization, identification of keywords, trend and path recognition within the document and shifts between the usual patterns of captured information.

The company expects an escalation in demand for this solution by ministries, government administrations, research centers, decision making and national security authorities, as well as various organizations which require processing the various formats of information. — (menareport.com)
