Cogent Systems recently announced it has been awarded a contract for approximately $34 million to install its Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS) for a national criminal and civil deployment supporting a national identification program in Morocco. The contract will consist of software and hardware, as well as services and maintenance which will extend beyond 2005.
