ALBAWABA – China has successfully launched a new satellite for space data transmission into orbit. The satellite was launched from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center (XSLC) in southwestern Sichuan Province.

According to the Chinese news agency, the country has successfully launched a new data transmission satellite into orbit. The satellite, named 'Tianlian II-04,' was launched from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center (XSLC) in southwestern Sichuan Province.

Tianlian II-04 was launched aboard a Long March-3B carrier rocket, and the country has confirmed that it has successfully entered its planned orbit.

Notably, the Tianlian II-04 satellite is part of the second generation of data transmission satellites in geosynchronous orbit. It was developed to provide multiple services, including data transmission, telemetry, tracking, and control for spacecraft and space stations.

Furthermore, the Tianlian II-04 satellite is capable of monitoring satellites in medium and low Earth orbits, offering accurate telemetry, tracking, and control support for spacecraft launch operations.
