The entry of leading budget hotel chains in to the Dubai market will help reduce the high costs of rooms in the emirate, while at the same time helping to sustain Dubai’s lure, travel industry sources assert.
The Bawadi hospitality development project includes plans for a total of nearly 30,000 rooms in the future, while some 6,500 rooms are set to be added by 2010 upon the completion of the Asia Hotel, according to Khaleej Times.
