Boeing Commercial Airplanes brought managers and executives from the region’s airlines together this past week in Dubai for a five day seminar on airline planning. The seminar marked the first time Boeing has organized the extensive and well-received program in the Gulf.
Since 1987, Boeing’s Airline Planning Seminar has traditionally been held four times a year in Seattle, as well as at select locations worldwide. In bringing the seminar to the Middle East, Boeing continues to demonstrate its commitment to directly engage customers in a cooperative effort to enhance commercial aviation growth in the region.
With 25 senior officials from 11 Middle East Airlines and Aviation Services providers participating, Boeing executives and attendees addressed a wide range of relevant topics faced by industry’s decision makers in today’s highly competitive airline environment. Open dialogue included market outlook, financial analysis, airplane economics and performance, revenue management, network and fleet planning.
