BNP Paribas, the French bank, recently announced that it intends to open a subsidiary in Algeria. The new subsidiary will be named BNP Paribas El Djazair, as reported by the AFP news agency.
The bank’s headquarters will be in Hydra, in the heights next to Algiers, whose Arabic name is El Djazair. Total capitalization of the bank stands at 500 million dinars ($6.6 million). —(MENA Report)
