OSSIS Property Developers, the owners and developers of $1 billion Bahrain's Amwaj Islands Projects, Tuesday signed a BD2.3 million agreement with Abdullah Nass Group for the construction of five main bridges linking all the islands.
Under the agreement the contractor will also build four hump-back bridges.
The signing ceremony was held at the Ossis Property Developers premises in Diplomatic Area.
The agreement was signed by Saud Kanoo, Chairman of Ossis Property Developers and Samir Nass, Managing Director of Abdullah Nass Group. Present were Jameel Al Matrouk, Managing Director of Ossis, Karim Shamma, general manager of the project and others.
The bridge network will be completed in a period of eight months. Ossis expects the project completion by end of January 2005.
Shamma told the Bahrain Tribune that the agreement would help to speed up the overall development work at various areas. “We hope to sign agreements for telecommunications network, irrigation and landscaping by next month,” he added. (menareport.com)
