According to Al-Sharq al-Awsat newspaper (June 20, 2005), the Chairman of Al Khaleej Development Company (Tameer), Mohammed Al Tawash, announced that Tameer has bought a piece of land in Al-Lawzi area in southern Manama for BD 20 million. He added that the total area of this land amounts to 3.5 million cubic feet and it's divided into 450 lots. He also said that a portion of this land will be developed for building purposes while the other portion will be sold after being developed. Al-Khaleej Development Co.
