Bahrain spends BD1.34 million each year on insuring government property, Finance Minister Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa told MPs Tuesday. According to him, the ministry is paying for 19 insurance policies that cover 190 sites.
They include the Electricity and Water Ministry and Health Ministry buildings and facilities, Bahrain International Airport, Gudaibiya Palace (the new Prime Minister's Court) and the Central Stores, the minister was quoted as saying by GDN.
