Property consultants DTZ Bahrain has signed a contract with Tabreed Bahrain, a local joint venture company for supplying a district cooling solution for the Bahrain World Trade Centre (BWTC).
According to GDN, Tabreed will provide chilled water to the BWTC from its district cooling plant, which will be specially built in the Diplomatic Area in order to offer a cooling solution for the building.
The district cooling system offers a far more environmentally-friendly method of cooling with lower power requirement as well as much lower carbon dioxide emissions.
