Bahrain's largest consumer exhibition, the Autumn Fair, is set to open Jan. 21.
More than 750 exhibitors from 20 countries are taking part in the 26th edition of the fair, which will be held under the patronage of Industry and Commerce Minister Zayed Al Zayani at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
Approximately 200,000 people are expected to attend the exhibition, which will run until January 29, with a significant number of visitors coming from Saudi Arabia.
Organisers said the show has grown by four per cent this year and was filled to capacity.
"Over a nine-day period, visitors to the Autumn Fair will be able to purchase a wide variety of products from around the world," said Arabian Exhibition Management project manager Mohammed Ebrahim.
"These include toys, textiles, cosmetics, interior decor and accessories, electrical goods, specialty foods, novelties and much more whilst enjoying the festive atmosphere and international flavour of this exciting exhibition.
"Over 750 exhibitors from 20 countries will display their products at the Autumn Fair 2015 spanning an event area of 15,400 square metres."
The expo will also feature an outdoor children's play area, a live band and costume characters among other live entertainment.
The largest international exhibitor groups assemble to form national pavilions from nine countries including China, Egypt, Kuwait, Turkey, Syria, UAE, Pakistan, Yemen and Thailand.
There are also participants from Bangladesh, India, Lebanon, Malaysia, Oman, Poland, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Tunisia and Turkey.
