A strict new law to protect Bahrain's coastal areas is on the way, The GDN reported. The Shura Council approved unanimously the law at its weekly session Monday. The proposed legislation would bar anyone from acquiring any coastal land or reclaiming land from the sea without the King Hamad's approval.
