Some 900 old houses in Muharraq are in a bad shape and need to be renovated immediately, Municipal Council member Salah Al Jowder told Bahrain Tribune Monday.
“The renovation project had started three years ago, but a large number of houses are still in the waiting list,” he was quoted as saying. The project covers the entire Kingdom and Muharraq was given priority, he added.
