Network business communications provider, Avaya announced today the appointment of US-based Universal Solutions as channel distributor for the entire Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Avaya has chosen to launch its two-tiered model into the MENA region, citing the growing telecommunications demands of the market and its geographical dispersion as an ideal region for the move. The model allocates channel support and development responsibilities to Universal Solutions, allowing Avaya to focus its resources on business development.
According to Avaya, Universal Solutions main responsibility, in its new regional business model, is channel control. It will support and develop the existing Avaya Business Partner network as well as recruit new partners. It will handle the logistics and administration processes necessary for the reseller channel to function and meet customer obligations.
Avaya designs, builds and manages communications networks for more than one million businesses around the world, including 90 percent of the Fortune 500. It develops secure and reliable Internet Protocol (IP) telephony systems, communications software applications and services.
Universal Solutions Middle East and Africa, is an international specialty technology distributor and a distributor of voice, data and convergence solutions. The company is committed to growing the communications market by strengthening and growing Avaya's indirect channel. — (menareport.com)
