Transportation provider, Aramex International has acquired the Jordan Distribution Agency (JDA), a privately owned company responsible for the distribution of over 4,000 publications in the local and international markets including mass circulation of major newspapers in the Kingdom.

Aramex has been an active player in Jordan's publication distribution business through City Express, which currently distributes a number of Pan-Arab and international publications in the Kingdom. Aramex will merge the newly acquired JDA with its sister company - City Express - to form the country's largest, single distribution network.

JDA was established in 1951 in Jerusalem and in 1953 in Jordan. It offers express package delivery, freight forwarding, logistics and other transportation services. Aramex has a global network with 134 offices in 34 countries, as well as several hubs located in strategic positions with global coverage. — (menareport.com)
