Recently published statistics by the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones show that Arab investors hold shares in 2,183 companies in Egypt, reported Al-Sharq Al-Awsat. The total capital of these enterprises is estimated at 62 billion Egyptian Pounds ($14 billion), of which Arab financiers contribute EP 13.9 billion.
