ALBAWABA – Apple, the American multinational technology company, has decided to appoint a new stores chief, a new position created to oversee retail operations, increase sales, and manage Apple’s leadership team in stores.
Apple names global head of stores
The famous tech company announced the appointment of a new global head of its stores. The company aims to support and enhance its retail sector with this move, promoting Vanessa Trigub to the new role.
Vanessa Trigub will serve as Vice President of Stores and Retail Operations globally, according to sources. Notably, Trigub previously managed multiple stores and locations in the Americas West region. She will now be responsible for overseeing Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and the Americas East region.

Trigub first joined Apple as an intern. Over time, she took on responsibilities in finance, mergers and acquisitions, and retail operations. She was promoted to the role of Vice President of the company in 2023.
It is worth noting that Apple’s retail network consists of approximately 535 stores worldwide. The company’s recent decision aims to increase sales and drive revenue amid ongoing competition in the Middle East, Europe, and globally.
Sources indicate that Trigub may eventually take over the role of Deirdre O’Brien, who currently serves as Apple’s Senior Vice President of Retail + People and is a member of the executive leadership team.
