Amwal, a Qatari finance house yesterday announced the increase of its capital from QR20m to QR100m through issue of additional 8m shares. The company also said it had appointed a top Canadian company as project manager to supervise the construction of the company's new corporate Headquarters, the Amwal Tower.
Cansult Ltd, the newly appointed project manager for the Tower to be built in the West bay area in Doha, would work jointly with HOK Canada, the Design Consultant for the project, to create a building that is set to become both a landmark and a focal point for the country's financial services industry.
