Dubai-based Almasa Distribution, a network solutions provider and hardware distributor has surpassed $24 million in sales in June 2003, stated a press release. "This represents a 54 percent increase year-on-year comparing the first half of 2003 with 2002," said Almasa’s Sales & Marketing Director, Parvez Ahmed.
Almasa Distribution, which was founded in 1996, is one of the few local technology distribution houses compared with international companies that have entered the region.
Almasa Distribution has warehousing facilities in Jebel Ali Free Zone and regional offices in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Kuwait and Lebanon. With the development of the regional offices over the coming year, the company has secured an enviable position of being close to their customers and providing localized in-country services.
