Algerian GSM operator expects 1 million subscribers

The number of subscribers of Algerian GSM operator, "Nedjma", has reached 800,000 subscribers and is expected to surpass 1 million at the beginning of September, the July 13 edition of Al-Khabar newspaper reported.

"Nedjma" is currently covering 24 provinces and is expected to cover 30 provinces at the end of this year. The marketing manager of the company, Robert Mardas also declared special discounts for the summer.

 

Nedjma was launched by Wataniya Telecom Algerie. It is equipped with advanced capabilities including national-class network support for high speed mobile Internet access based on the EDGE technology.
