In an effort to achieve advanced customer service levels, Acer Computer (ME) Ltd. launched a new program giving Acer technology users in the Saudi Kingdom free service for their Personal Computers (PCs). The regional initiative, dubbed Acer Care Camp, is also being rolled-out across the Middle East in partnership with Acer’s Authorized Service Provider community.

“The overall Information Technology (IT) sector is now recovering from a slowdown and Acer sees this as an ideal time to reach out to our regional end-user and partner community through this unique program," said Suhas Bartar, director customer services division, Acer Computer (M.E.) Ltd.

The Acer Care Camp program will be conducted in cooperation with Acer's Authorized Service Provider in Saudi Arabia—Al-Alamiah Electronics—and will last for three days, April 1-3, 2002.

Under the program, Acer’s end-users can take their PC units, regardless of warranty status, to Acer's nominated Authorized Service Provider for a host of service options. These offers include: diagnosing hardware problems, addressing software cases related to pre-loaded operating systems, consultation on virus prevention amongst and other free services. — (menareport.com)
