PC International (PCI), distributor for LG Electronics' information technology (IT) products in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), is planning to open a showroom in Abu Dhabi. The three million Emirati dirham ($816,782) will be the second PC Link Gate store in the Emirates to showcase the company’s IT range.
The new two-storey store, due to open first quarter 2003, will take up a total of 2,400 square feet and comprise a display area, service center, offices and storeroom. Earlier this year, PCI launched the PC Link Gate branded store concept with an outlet focusing on the retail market, at Computer Plaza in Dubai.
The development swiftly follows LG's recent launch of new monitors at the Middle East's largest IT exhibition, Gitex. — (menareport.com)
