Bugatti hybrid V16 Tourbillon
The renowned French company has released its revolutionary and luxurious Hybrid V16 Tourbillon, boasting 1,800 horsepower and a top speed of 445 km/h. The unique Bugatti vehicle is worth approximately $4 million.
“This next-generation Bugatti hyper sports car is powered by an all-new 8.3-liter naturally aspirated V16 engine – engineered with the help of Cosworth – paired with a front e-Axle with two electric motors and one electric motor mounted at the rear axle,” according to Bugatti’s official website.
According to Bugatti, the new engine is backed by an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. The hybrid V16 can reach 60 mph in as little as 2.0 seconds and hit 250 mph in about 25 seconds.
Remarkably, the company has developed its W16 engine by incorporating an electric motor at the rear, bringing the total number of working motors to three in this special vehicle. The interior exemplifies high-end luxury and sophistication, featuring leather, machined metal, and crystal.
The company stated that the new Tourbillon features entirely updated designs, making it look unlike any of the previous Bugatti models.
Rechargeable battery
In addition to its 3 motors, the car also introduces a 21.0-kWh rechargeable battery that holds enough charge for about 30 miles of electric range.
