Abu Dhabi International Airport wins Air Cargo Award of Excellence
Abu Dhabi Airports Company announced today that Abu Dhabi International Airport has been awarded the ‘Air Cargo Award of Excellence’ by Air Cargo World Magazine.
Abu Dhabi International Airport excelled in its operational efficiency and superior overall rating among various airports in the world handling 300,000 or more tones of cargo; as determined by the readers of Air Cargo World Magazine.
In this regard, Engineer Ahmad Al Haddabi, Senior Vice President of Airports Operations in Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) stated, “We are very proud to have achieved yet another prestigious award. I would like to thank and congratulate the whole team at Abu Dhabi Cargo Company and Abu Dhabi Airports services for their commitment and diligence in delivering quality service to our clients. I would also like to extend my gratitude to all our partners and stakeholders, including the Department of Ports and Airports Security- Airport police, Customs and airlines, for their continued efforts; their collaborative support allows us to achieve ultimate levels of services to all our customers”.
The Air Cargo Excellence survey was established in 2005 and is carried out and published annually by Air Cargo World. The survey is based upon a rating system that measures airports on specific criteria and subsequently ranks them to identify above or below average performance.
