Wi-tribe celebrates its third year of success with fresh perspective, expansion strategy

Celebrating its third anniversary, wi-tribe, the leader in wireless Internet service, announced its expansion strategy under the new slogan of “Create Your Own World”. 

The new strategy will involve the increase in wi-tribe’s coverage area by 80% to include East Amman in addition to other governorates outside Amman. 

Simultaneously, wi-tribe shall introduce more flexible and diversified products and services that will suit a larger customer segment of the market including the corporate sector. 

Moreover, wi-tribe will offer a new tier 1 billing system - Oracle BRM. The billing system will enable wi-tribe to offer a wider range of services tailored to address the growing needs of its customers including greater convenience by enabling customers to manage their account online, paying their bills, buying services, adjusting their account setting and much more.  

“Through this expansion strategy, we will enable our customers to expand their world into the cyber space by providing high quality affordable broadband services, expanding our coverage area by supporting initiatives aimed at enhancing the ICT sector in the Kingdom and increasing internet penetration; from this came the notion of ‘Creating Your Own World,” Mr. Amer Sunna, wi-tribe Jordan CEO, told reporters. 

“Along with our new identity, we are looking for an improved internet experience for our clientele that always puts us in the lead by working with global partners such as Skype and Symantec, the leading international company in comprehensive Internet protection solutions.” 

He reiterated wi-tribe’s keenness to introduce new offers and services with more flexibility to suit the customers’ needs in terms of speed, downloading limits and price.

Mr. Sunna maintained that wi-tribe will always work to implement the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II and support his pioneering initiatives in this field to develop ICT in the Kingdom to be executed by the private sector with the participation of all concerned stakeholders.
