Trend Micro Incorporated, a global leader in Internet content security, announced new mobile features with SafeSync for iPhone and SafeSync for Android.

Trend Micro SafeSync is an easy-to-use, yet technically powerful solution that offers a secure personal cloud to individual consumers. Running silently in the background, it features automatic and unlimited backup, providing peace of mind by saving copies of all digital files on secure servers. Remote access is also unlimited and files can be accessed on the go from any online desktop, laptop, smartphone or web device. Synchronization is automatic and continuous and consumers never need to worry about backing up because the most current files are always available regardless of device. The result is the superior organization of data and the ability to quickly and easily share albums via Facebook, Hotmail or Gmail. Additionally, SafeSync eliminates the need to manually move files from one PC to another, which is not only time-consuming but subject to data loss.

New Mobile Features

With the introduction of SafeSync for iPhone and SafeSync for Android, SafeSync users can now use their mobile devices to access files stored on the SafeSync server. The new iPhone and Android applications allow SafeSync account users to upload newly captured photos or videos directly to SafeSync. Users can preview photos and videos as thumbnails before downloading onto their phone; view previously accessed file while offline; and listen to audio files or watch videos from SafeSync without downloading files to their iPhone or Android. The new mobile applications are free for SafeSync account users.
