Tamkeen launches series of trade fairs in Bahrain

In accordance with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s vision for economic reforms and taking vital steps towards improving performances of businesses and the commitments to the improvement of services in Bahrain, Tamkeen has announced plans for the hosting of a series of trade fairs which is scheduled for the month of July. Each Governorate is targeting 200 business owners.

These fairs will be a great opportunity for business owners to reach new customers as well as exhibit and sell their products and services. The fairs’ main objective will be to enhance the demand of the consumers and to outline the efforts of Tamkeen in developing new opportunities for the private sector and support continued social development.

Milan Boutique, a participant in the Bahrain Trade Fair, say’s “The greatest thing of this fair is, that it will bring all business under one roof, which will increase customers’ intention to attend the fair”

All costs of the event will be covered by Tamkeen, including space rental, design and construction of trade show displays/booths and promotional branding of the events including logistical coordination with partners. Ali Redha, Computer Shop Owner, says, “The event seems to be very interesting and promising, I expect a lot of consumers will attend these fairs”, and he adds “The organizers of this event are very cooperative, they have facilitated the fairs in strategic locations, which is the best part of this concept” 

The event will be open to the public and participants will be selected on a “First Come First Serve” basis.

The registration for the companies who wish to participate will end on the 29th of June 2011. Registration will be during working hours and will close at 2pm.
