Tamkeen hails tremendous support from businesses for the Bahrain Trade Fair

TAMKEEN has had tremendous support from business owners/participants who have registered for the Bahrain Trade Fairs that will take place from 7th to 30th July across the Kingdom’s five governorates.
Tamkeen wishes to further extend their call to all business owners/participants to register at each governorate for the Bahrain Trade Fair. Registration has been extended. Registration will be during working hours and will close at 2 pm. Up to 200 business owners/participants will be selected for each Governorate fair and these fairs are scheduled to take place in 6-day cycles.
Each fair will bring together all interested business owners from each Governorate at a central venue located in the various Governorates to sell their products. The fairs will be hosted by Tamkeen in partnership with the five governorates of the Kingdom and in coordination with the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.
Mr. Salah Al Sayegh, a Computer Shop Owner from Gudaibiya, said, “I am very optimistic about the trade fairs. Since facing great financial loss in the first and second quarter of this year, many business owners now have a positive outlook at the market through Tamkeen’s initiatives and support.”
Ms Fatima Ali, Restaurant Owner, is grateful for the opportunity extended by Tamkeen to local businesses in Bahrain. She said, “I believe that having these fairs in different locations is a great idea not only for Bahraini businesses, but also for my business, as I am planning to expand my business to other areas of Bahrain.”
Mr. Ahmed Al Buainin, owner of Italian products, said, I am genuinely grateful that Tamkeen initiated these fairs. This is a welcome step towards restoring consumer confidence and increasing market demand. I have shops in malls and have suffered financially in the last four months. I would like to thank Tamkeen for their part in giving the Bahrain economy a boost.”
