Lebanese singer Waleed Tawfiq was successful in ending the disputes between Lebanese singers Assi Hilani and Shareef Mu’een. Assi and Shareef both attended the funeral ceremony for Waleed’s brother and fate had it that they be seated next to one another. With the help of Waleed, both men greeted one another and forgot all about the past.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Assi stressed that there is no real dispute between him and Shareef and when Waleed intervened to make peace between them, Assi said that he considers Shareef a brother and he has all the respect and love for him. Assi added that he has a big forgiving heart and what was in the past remains in the past and he holds no hard feelings towards Shareef.
On his part, Waleed stated that he felt the time was very appropriate to end the disputes between Assi and Shareef, who may have disputes or even some misunderstandings with one another. He added that he was confident both men would not let him down and become friends again.
Assi and Shareef held small talk during the funeral and arranged to have either a lunch or dinner date together.
