Iraqi singer Shatha Hassoun revealed she will be holding her first concert in Bahrain after the recent events that occurred in the country with demonstrations taking place calling for political reform. Shatha stressed that she likes to take risks and hopes that through her concert she will be able to bring smiles to people in Bahrain, whom she holds great respect for.
Shatha stated that during the coming holy month of Ramadan, she will be spending her time with her family in Lebanon and will not be holding any live performances. She added that the only work activities she will be doing is recording songs at one of the studios in Lebanon.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Shatha denied rumors of an engagement, stressing that the time has not come for to marry and that she does not care much about the origin of the man she will one day marry for her father is Iraqi and her mother is Moroccan.
