Prominent Syrian actor Tayem Hassan has announced that the television drama “Abed Qarman”, which he had filmed last year alongside Egyptian actress Reem Al Baroudi, will finally see the light and be aired during the coming Ramadan season. Tayem stated that the decision to ban the drama from airing has gone into the wind like the regime of the former government of Egyptian president Husni Mubarak.
The Egyptian Censorship Committee had banned the drama from airing due to the claim that it contains many scenes about Egypt’s Secret Service. The drama also focused on events that occurred during the 1967 and 1973 wars against Israel.
