Lebanese singer Rami Ayash has noted that he doubts a revolution will break out in Lebanon like the one in Egypt, stressing that unlike Egypt, Lebanon is divided into numerous ethnic groups. Rami also said that it is not required for an artist to be politically active, because art depends on feelings and emotions, whereas politics depend on the mind.
About the announcement of Egyptian director Khaled Yousif and actress Sharihan to establish a political party for stars, Rami stated that such a matter is very difficult since an artist loves his country more than a politician and performs devoutly to his people. He added that politicians usually have their own agenda that in many cases does not include the people of their country.
With regards to his personal life, Rami stated that he is very close to his mother and a spiritual bond connects them. Rami revealed that there are no specific characteristics for the girl of his dreams, especially since the personality of a woman is what makes a man love her.
Rami said that his previous marriage was an arranged one and he had gotten married to please his family. He added that when he discovered the truth about his ex-wife, he immediately ended the union. Rami revealed that before getting married he was in love with a young lady, but stressed he would not reveal her name.
