Lebanese singer Sireen Abd Al Nour denied circulating rumors that she is having marital problems over having children.
“My husband and I will decide when we are ready to have children,” said Sireen, adding that she does not intend to postpone motherhood to concentrate on her career.
Neither her family nor her husband’s will interfere in the decision, she said.
Sireen stars in the Lebanese television drama “Sarah” being aired on the Lebanese Broadcasting Company (LBC) satellite channel. The drama tackles the issue of a husband’s betrayal and his wife’s journey of suffering in how she is perceived by society and treated by the judicial system when she asks for a divorce and for custody of their children.
The drama is written by Claudia Marshilian and directed by Sameer Habashi. Actors Yousif Haddad, Yousif Al Khal, Nada Bu Farhat, Pamela Al Kayk, Majdi Mashmushi and a number of Lebanese actors costar in the drama with Sireen.
