Lebanese singer Nawal has turned down her invitation to take part in the semifinal episode of the talent show ‘Star Academy’ in its eighth season. The episode is scheduled to take place on July 8. Nawal had informed the organizers of the show that she is unable to be part of the show due to the fact that she is scheduled to hold a live performance in Paris on July 9 alongside Lebanese singer Fadel Shaker.
The singer’s decline to perform at the semifinals has placed the organizers of the show in a very tight spot as they are forced to find a replacement immediately.
After her scheduled performance in Paris, Nawal will head immediately to Algeria to hold two concerts on July 13 and 14. The singer will then return to Lebanon to hold a live performance at the Al Mukhtarist Stadium in the Al Hazimiyah area alongside Lebanese singer Milhim Zein.
