Miss Lebanon of 2007, Nadine, said that she has reviewed over 3000 photos and watched 200 films to prepare for her upcoming role in the new television drama “Al Shahroorah”, which follows the life of Lebanese diva Sabah. In the drama, Nadine will play the role of Sabah’s daughter Huwaydah.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Nadine stated that she did not hesitate to accept the role.
“To be part of such a project is an honor, in addition to acting alongside some of the most prominent stars in the Arab world,” said Nadine.
Nadine denied rumors that her looks are behind her nomination for the role. She was likely chosen due to her strong resemblance to Sabah’s daughter, says Nadine, adding that the drama’s production company is confident in her ability to portray the role.
Nadine did reveal that being a Miss Lebanon opened many doors for her both in the acting world and on a political level.
