Prominent Egyptian actress Mervat Ameen refused to make any public remark about her daughter Mina’s divorce from Egyptian actor Shareef Ramzi. The actress has closed her cellular phone after being bombarded with calls by people trying to find out the reasons behind the divorce. Her daughter’s marriage lasted for three years without having any children.
Recently, rumors had it that disputes erupted between Mina and Shareef, but neither confirmed or denied the news. It was added that mutual friends of Mina and Shareef attempted to intervene and solve their differences, but all attempts were marked with failure.
Mina is the only daughter for Mervat and prominent Egyptian actor Hussein Fahmi. Mervat and Hussein had separated in the late eighties.
