After her significant success in playing the leading role in the recent television drama “Al Itbah Al Hamra” (the Red Doorway), which was aired during the recent Ramadan season, young Egyptian actress Mai Kassab is back in filming studios. The actress is currently working on two different films.
The first film Mai will take part in is alongside prominent Egyptian actress Ghada Abd Al Rizik and titled “Bon Suwaraih” and the second is titled “365 Youm Sa’adah” (365 Happy Days) alongside Egyptian actor Ahmad Izz.
According to the London based Elaph, May is trying hard to make sure she divides her time promptly between both films in order to have them both ready for screening in movie theaters during the upcoming Muslim holiday Eid Al Adha. The actress is literally working double the hours to finish filming all the scenes.
May is also planning on releasing her latest album in the near future. May broke her contract with the production company ‘Rotana’ due to the constant delays by the company in releasing her albums. The new album features a number of songs that were sung in her television drama “Al Itbah Al Hamra”.
