Lebanese singer Marwa took part in a celebration for the National Orphans Day in Cairo that was attended by a large number of orphans. Marwa sang a collection of her most popular songs for the children and at the end of the event she was presented with a recognition award for her participation in such a humane event.
Marwa had said while being presented the award that orphans should not be recognized on only day but rather special attention should be given to them year round. She added that she is honored to take part in such special events on a daily basis for no one can put a price on making a child smile.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Marwa has begged forgiveness from all her fans for the provocative and indecent scenes she had presented in the past in different films. She added that she has vowed to herself to never accept such roles that present her in an indecent manner and will only play roles that are respectful.
Previously, Marwa had said that the image people have of her is not true, and she is a very pure and honest person that acts spontaneously. She added that she is very down to earth and a good hearted person and never holds a grudge against anyone and what is in her heart is on the top of her tongue. Marwa said that her good heartedness may be the reason she is misunderstood by many.
