Young Egyptian actress Mai Izz El Din is currently filming the final scene of her latest television drama “Qadiat Safiah” (Safia’s Case) in order to be able to dedicate her time to fasting and worshiping during the holy month of Ramadan.
Mai stated that she wants to finish filming the final scenes so she can spend the holy month with her family at home.
In the new drama, Mai plays the role of Safia who is accused of murdering a man who suddenly appears in her life and claims he is her brother. On the day she is to stand trial and be sentenced to death, she sees the person she is accused of murdering among the crowd watching the trial. Safia is then able to escape and she starts a mission to find out the true identity of the person she allegedly killed.
On a different note, Mai has created a Facebook account for herself in order to connect with her fans on a daily basis.
