Lebanese singer denied circulating rumors that she is banned from Egypt stressing that all that has been said and published in the media is mere lies.
Elissa has expressed her astonishment at the creation of such rumors and the speed they spread. She added that she does not know where the rumors were started and hoped that those behind such lies would let her be.
On a different note, Elissa stated that she is honored at being appointed as a UN Goodwill Ambassador. Elissa had replaced Aisha Al Gaddafi, daughter of Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi. Aisha was removed from the position due to the current bloody conditions in Libya that are caused by Muammar.
