Prominent Egyptian actress Elham Shaheen will begin filming the first scenes of her new television drama “Qadiat Ma’ali Al Wazeer” (His Excellency the Minister’s Case) in January of 2011. Producer of the drama, Hussam Sha’baan, has stated that the drama is scheduled to be aired next Ramadan season.
Hussam noted that the producing company wants to begin filming at an early time in order to give the entire crew enough time to work on the drama and give their best and not be pressured.
The drama will star Elham, Mustafa Fahmi and Yousif Sha’baan. It is written by Muhsin Al Jalad, directed by Rabab Hussein and produced by the company ‘King Tut Production’.
According to the London based Elaph, the drama had been postponed from last year due to Elham’s preoccupation with other works, in addition to the fact that the scenarist was not completely finish with the script.
