Lebanese singer Carol Samaha will be returning to Egypt after having left a few days after the people’s revolution broke out against the former government of Husni Mubarak. Carol will be releasing a new song dedicated to Egypt and under the direction of ‘Cedars Art Production.’
According to the London based Elaph, the new song is written by poet Ayman Bahjat and composed by Mohammad Yahia. Carol will also resume filming the scenes for her upcoming television drama “Al Shahroora”, which tackles the life of the great Lebanese legend Sabah.
Carol had left Egypt after mass popular protests broke out in Egypt against Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak on 25 January demanding new leadership for the country.
