Syrian actor Bassem Yakhour has revealed that he is preparing to take part in a new Egyptian television drama that tackles the political corruption cases in Egypt. The new drama is titled “Al Murafa’a” (The hearing) and is written by Tamer Abd Al Mun’im.
Bassem said that there is s a big possibility that he may play the leading role in the drama of a powerful businessman that succeeds in establishing an empire of wealth. The man becomes involved in the political scene and his life turns topsy-turvy after he is accused of killing a famous actress.
