Prominent Lebanese singer Assi Hilani has included a new Khaleeji (Gulf) song on his upcoming album. The song is composed by Assi himself and written by young Emirati poet Al Asri.
Assi is preparing to hold a grand performance in Cairo as part of the upcoming Sound and Lights Festival taking place on October 14 at the great pyramids. International artist Julio Iglesias is also scheduled to perform at the event.
