Prominent Syrian actor Duraid Laham and Lebanese singer Assi Al Hilani have released a new song titled “Ridaki Ya Mu”(Your Blessings Mother) in celebration of Mother’s Day and dedicated it to all the mothers in the world. The song is also especially dedicated to Duraid’s deceased mother.
According to the internet website MBC.net, the song is written and produced by Al Khani and composed by Taher Mamli. The song marks Duraid’s second singing experience the first being for the song “La’younik Ya Sham” (For your eyes Syria). Duraid stressed that he takes advantage of releasing specific songs to send out a message that are of social importance to people.
Duraid stated that he and Assi clicked together and he considers Assi to be one of the most important Arab singers.
A number of radio stations have begun airing the song and Al Khani is expected to film it in the form of a music video in the upcoming few days.
