France and Germany have a long history of battling it out on the world stage and it is certain that tomorrow's match will be another exciting chapter in their national team's histories.

The French have been going about their business rather effectively in Brazil, avoiding extra time will certainly help them due to some extra rest after Germany were taken to extra time by Algeria.

Germany will also be expected to make a slight suffel in their starting XI as Joachim Low could continue to use the versatility of Philipp Lahm to his advantage and move Jerome Boateng to the bench while injecting Sami Khedira in to the holding midfield spot.

France also are likely to make a few changes with Mamadou Sakho expected to be fit and ready to reclaim his place alongside of Rafael Varane in the center of the defense and Antoine Grizmann could replace Olivier Giroud to see Karim Benzema as the lone striker yet again.

It is expected to be a tough contest between the two neighboring nations and could yet be another match that goes to extra time this summer.

France Starting XI: Lloris: Debuchy, Varane, Sakho, Evra; Pogba, Cabaye, Matuidi; Valbuena, Benzema, Grizmann.

Germany Starting XI: Neuer: Lahm, Mertesacker, Hummels, Howedes; Kroos, Khedira, Schweinsteiger; Ozil, Muller, Gotze.
