Croatia and Mexico come face to face battling for their life in the World Cup and knowing that this is the final chance to book their place in the next round.

Mexico's draw with Brazil gives them the advantage of only needing a draw, but Croatia must win in order to advance.

Niko Kovac's side were unlucky not to get something from their opening match with Brazil, but bounced back with a vengence as they blasted four past Cameroon to get three points and remain in the hunt.

Likewise Mexico were unlucky not to have beaten Brazil into submission as goalkeeper Alex Ochoa, largely forgotten in many parts of the world until major tournaments as he plays with Club America in Mexico and not over in Europe in the massive media spotlight, had one of the most impressive performances of any keeper in the tournament.

Mexico and Croatia both have the tools to get to the next stage, but today's match will be about whom has the desire to get to the next round, not just whom has the ability to do so.

Neither side has any injury or suspension concerns and both manager's are expected to name the same first team's that were involved in their last matches several days prior to this afternoon.

Croatia Starting XI: Pletikosa: Srna, Corluka, Lovren, Pranjic; Rakitic, Modric; Perisic, Sammir, Olic; Mandzukic.

Mexico Starting XI: Ochoa: Rodriguez, Marquez, Moreno; Aguilar, Herrera, Vazquez, Guardado, Layun; Peralta, Santos.
