Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has said he is not bothered by the signing of Arsenal striker Robin Van Persie, and added he is determined to fight for his place in the starting line up.
United has announced the signing of Van Persie from Arsenal in a deal worth 22 million pounds, and the Dutch forward is expected to strengthen the already strong list of forwards at the club.
Hernandez is desperate to make an impact this season at Manchester United after an injury-hit campaign last term limited him to just 18 league starts.
"There are parts of your life when you're going to have competition," The Daily Express quoted Hernandez, as saying.
"Having that competition in the team can be good. I will be ready when the gaffer wants me to play," he added. (ANI)
