Sur beat Fanja 2-1 to lift His Majesty’s Football Cup in an electrifying final held at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Baushar.
Mohammed Najashi, opened the score for Fanja in the 36thminute of first half but Juma Al Jammi netted the equaliser for Sur in the 82ndminute.
As the match went into extra time, Mohammed Ibrahim tapped in from close to make it 2-1 for Sur, thereby helping the team to win the title. Sur previously won the championship in 2008.
